Another Day to Remember!
Yesterday, May 27, 2023, Weiden's skateboarding community lit up with the 2nd Annual Skate Contest at JUZ Weiden. Skitch Skate Shop (Grafenwöhr) and JUZ Weiden, powered by Christopher Leach, Florian Graf, Christof Meier, Michael Ringer, and Christian Neidhardt, welcomed skaters from Nuremberg, Regensburg, Cologne, and across Germany to compete for over €3,000 in cash and prizes.
As highlighted in follow-up press coverage by OberpfalzECHO, a massive crowd of over 1,000 visitors filled the park once again as numerous skaters gathered at the SKITCH Pavilion next to the DJ booth. To support the rapid explosion of younger skaters, we expanded the lineup into four distinct categories.

At 5:30 PM, the Best Trick session unleashed jaw-dropping flips, grinds, and slides, culminating in a 6:00 PM awards ceremony. Live music from DJ Ketiga Beats filled the air, food trucks served great food, and spectator crowds celebrated the camaraderie that defines skateboarding culture.
