5th Annual Weiden Skate Contest and Community Festival at JUZ Weiden - Get Ready for an Unforgettable Day!
Event Update:
Due to unavoidable scheduling conflicts, the Weiden Skate Competition 2026 will not take place this year. This decision allows us to properly regroup and plan the next edition at the level the community expects. The next Weiden Skate Competition is scheduled for 2027, and we look forward to returning with renewed energy, a stronger program, and an event that truly delivers.
Preparations are already being shaped for the next Weiden Skate Competition and Community Festival, scheduled for 2027 at JUZ Weiden, Frühlingstraße 1, 92637 Weiden in der Oberpfalz. Skitch Skate Shop (Grafenwöhr) and JUZ Weiden, together with organizers Christopher Leach, Florian Graf, Christof Meier, Michael Ringer, and Christian Neidhardt, are committed to delivering a stronger, more refined event for the community.
The 2027 event will once again combine competitive skateboarding with a full-scale community festival. Skaters from Nuremberg, Regensburg, Cologne, and beyond are expected to compete at Weiden’s iconic skatepark. The festival will feature a diverse food truck lineup, performances by local dance clubs, a special needs disco focused on accessibility and inclusion, and live music in the evening.
The skate competition will take place at Weiden’s modern skatepark, known for its creative layout and challenging obstacles. The planned format includes three contest groups:

Group B (18 and over)

Group A (Open & Sponsored)
A Best Trick session will also return, highlighting creativity and technical skill. Full schedules, registration details, and prize information will be announced closer to the event.
Building on the success of the 2022–2025 Weiden Skate Contests, the 2027 edition aims to further strengthen Weiden’s position as a hub for skateboarding and community culture in Bavaria. We appreciate the community’s understanding and continued support, and we look forward to coming back in 2027 with renewed energy.
