Skitch Skate Shop Sponsorship Program
We’re absolutely pumped by the overwhelming passion from the skate community for joining our team! We invite you to send us your demo reels, and we’ll review each one carefully. On December 1st, we’ll reach out to discuss opportunities to join the Skitch Skate Team. Keep skating, stay committed, and always push your limits!
Who We’re Looking For
At Skitch, your character matters more than your skateboarding skills. We prioritize personality, passion, and integrity. We’re not interested in working with dishonest or disrespectful people. If you’re a kind, down-to-earth, honest, and trustworthy individual who respects all people and creatures on this planet, we want to connect with you. If that’s not you, please don’t apply—we’re building a positive, tight-knit team.
Sponsorship Levels
Our sponsorship program includes three levels to support skaters at different stages of their journey with Skitch.
Shop Supported Level
This is our entry-level sponsorship, ideal for skaters who are new to the team, not part of our local community, or semi-active on social media. It’s the first step for both in-town and out-of-town skaters.

What It Involves: Your obligations are light but meaningful. You’ll represent Skitch by submitting media (videos and photographs) for our social media advertising campaigns. This includes using our merchandise or equipment at public skate parks, local competitions, and in your social media posts.

What You Get: In exchange for your commitment, we provide discounted merchandise and shop gear, such as hats, hoodies, t-shirts, skateboards, and hardware, to fuel your skating.

Why It Matters: This level is perfect for skaters looking to start a partnership with Skitch, grow their presence, and build a stronger connection with our community.
Shop Flowed Level
This is the second level of sponsorship, for skaters who’ve shown dedication to Skitch and skateboarding. It’s our way of rewarding your investment in our shop with more support.

What It Involves: You’ll grant Skitch marketing rights to your image for use in our campaigns. You’ll represent us at public skate parks, competitions, and events, both local and out-of-town, while promoting Skitch on your social media.

What You Get: In return, you’ll receive a higher discount on shop merchandise, free hardware, equipment, and Skitch apparel. We may also cover travel, accommodation, or living expenses when you represent us at out-of-town competitions or events. You’ll get premium skateboarding equipment and other merchandise at no cost.

Why It Matters: This level is for skaters who are all-in with Skitch, helping us amplify our brand while getting the gear and support needed to shine.
Flowed by Shop & DC Skateboarding (DC Shoes)
This is the highest level of sponsorship, reserved for skaters who are as invested in Skitch as we are in them—you’re down like four flat tires!

What It Involves: The requirements are more serious. You’ll provide photos and videos for our social media accounts, join team skate sessions, contribute to team skate videos, and attend Skitch shop functions. You’ll represent both Skitch and DC Skateboarding with pride at events and competitions.

What You Get: You’ll receive a steep discount on shop merchandise, official “Flowed” apparel, hardware, and merchandise from top brands like DC Skateboarding, plus Skitch gear. We’ll also cover travel, accommodation, and living expenses for out-of-town competitions or functions. You’ll get a massive haul of brand-name and shop “Flowed” skateboarding equipment, merchandise, and apparel—it’s a seriously dope deal!

Why It Matters: This level is for skaters who live and breathe Skitch and DC Skateboarding, helping us elevate our brand while receiving top-tier support to dominate the skate scene.
What It Takes to Join the Team
If you’re as obsessed with skateboarding as we are and want to join the Skitch Skate Team, here’s what you need to know:

Active Instagram Presence: You must be active on Instagram, regularly posting about your skateboarding progress. This is a core requirement to join the team!

Mutual Support: In exchange for your time and social media reach, we provide gear and support to fuel your passion. When you post about skateboarding, you’ll tag and promote Skitch Skate Shop and our partners like DC Skateboarding. It’s a win-win: you get the gear you need, and we gain exposure through your posts.

Community Investment: Instead of spending on ads with Google, Instagram, or Facebook, we invest in our local and global skate community.
How to Apply
If you vibe with our shop’s style and want to join the team, follow these steps:

Send us a direct message on Instagram.

Include a “Sponsor Me” video that’s at least 2 minutes long, showcasing your skateboarding.

Ensure you have an active Instagram account with regular skate-related posts.
We’ll review your submission and see where it takes us—maybe we’ll be shredding together soon!
Legal Disclaimer
All three levels of the Skitch Rider Program share one key principle: you are a team member who skates exclusively for Skitch. None of the levels permit you to claim you “ride for” any other skate shop—you can only ride for Skitch. While you may receive sponsorships from other brands, Skitch must be the only skate shop you represent. Even if you receive products through us from major brands (e.g., at the Flowed level), you are not skating for those brands. For example, you cannot say you are sponsored by DC Shoes, as you are a rider for Skitch only. However, if we’ve arranged for you to receive products from DC Shoes, you may say “Flowed by @dcshoes” for legal clarity. You are 100% a team rider for Skitch and no one else. If you have any questions, just ask!
