159 Stage 11 Forged Titanium (Pair)

Regular price €140,00

Unleash your skate potential with the Independent Trucks 159 Stage 11 Forged Titanium Pair Skateboard Trucks, the lightest and strongest option from a brand that’s been a skateboarding cornerstone since 1978 under NHS, Inc. Trusted by pros like Andrew Reynolds and Louie Lopez, Independent is known for its durable, high-quality construction. This Stage 11 Forged Titanium set features a polished silver finish, crafted with an A356 T6 aluminum hanger and a forged 6061 aluminum baseplate for a thinner, lighter, and stronger design. With a solid Ti64 titanium axle and hollow Chromoly kingpin, these trucks are 15% lighter than standard Stage 11s while maintaining durability. At 53.5mm tall with 90A Super High Rebound cushions, they’re optimized for wheels 54mm and under, offering superior turning, stability, and grind clearance. Designed for decks between 8.6" and 9.0", this pair of trucks (sold as a set of 2) is ideal for street and park skating, delivering a responsive ride that’s Built to Grind and Guaranteed for Life.

Key Features

  • A356 T6 Aluminum Hanger: Lightweight, heat-treated aluminum provides strength, durability, and a superior grind feel.
  • Forged 6061 Aluminum Baseplate: Thinner and lighter than standard baseplates, maintaining high density and impact resistance.
  • 53.5mm Height: Mid-profile height ensures optimal performance and wheel clearance for wheels 54mm and under, enhancing stability and control.
  • Solid Ti64 Titanium Axle: Ultra-lightweight titanium axle offers the highest strength-to-weight ratio, saving weight while maintaining durability.
  • Universal Fit: Fits decks from 8.6" to 9.0", with a 6-hole baseplate compatible with both old and new school mounting patterns (sold as a pair).

Compatible Truck Sizes

The Independent Trucks 159 Stage 11 Forged Titanium Pair comes with an 8.75" axle width, perfectly matching decks from 8.6" to 9.0". If replacing with alternative trucks, the following sizes from Independent Trucks and Venture Trucks are compatible:

Independent Trucks:

  • Size 149 (8.5" axle width): Slightly narrower but compatible, offering a more agile feel for decks around 8.6".
  • Size 169 (10.0" axle width): Wider but compatible, providing extra stability for decks around 9.0".

Venture Trucks:

  • Size 5.8 (8.5" axle width): Narrower but compatible, delivering lightweight performance for decks around 8.6".
  • Size 6.1 (8.75" axle width): Closest match for decks around 8.75", offering a stable setup.

General Guideline: Trucks with an 8.75" axle width (Venture 6.1) are the closest match for decks around 8.75", while 8.5" trucks (Independent 149 or Venture 5.8) offer a slightly narrower stance for agility. Note that Venture does not offer a 10.0" axle width.

Wheel Sizes

The Independent Trucks 159 Stage 11 Forged Titanium Pair is optimized for wheels 54mm and under due to its 53.5mm height. Compatible wheel sizes for typical 8.6" to 9.0" decks include:

  • 50-52mm: Ideal for technical street skating. Smaller wheels lower the center of gravity, enhancing control for flip tricks and grinds on ledges or rails. Recommended with low trucks to avoid wheelbite.
  • 53-54mm: A balanced choice for street and park skating. These wheels provide a mix of speed and maneuverability, perfect for most skaters using this truck size.
  • 55-56mm: Suited for skateparks or mixed terrain. Larger wheels offer faster rolls and smoother rides over cracks or ramps, best with risers to prevent wheelbite.
  • General Guideline: For 8.6" to 9.0" decks with these trucks, 50-54mm wheels are most popular for street-focused setups, while 54-56mm wheels are better for park or transition skating with risers. Opt for harder wheels (83A or higher) for street and softer wheels (80A-83A) for skatepark surfaces.
