Chocolate Aikens Queen 8.0

Chocolate Skateboards – Deep Roots and Timeless Street Style Since 1994

Founded in 1994 by Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, and Megan Baltimore as an extension of the Girl Skateboards family, Chocolate Skateboards stands as one of the most culturally significant and artistically driven brands in skateboarding. Formed originally to accommodate a growing roster of exceptionally talented friends who did not fit onto the already packed Girl team, Chocolate carved out its own distinct identity defined by soulful street skating, artistic expression, and unmistakable family camaraderie.

From its inception, Chocolate was recognized for its diverse, elite roster and groundbreaking video parts. The brand became home to iconic skate legends including Chico Brenes, Keenan Milton, Gino Iannucci, Richard Angelides, Paulo Diaz, Stevie Williams, Marc Johnson, Kenny Anderson, Vincent Alvarez, and Raven Tershy. Paired with the distinctive visual aesthetic created by longtime art director Evan Hecox, Chocolate's hand-lettered scripts and signature graphic series set a new benchmark for skate art and urban design.

Chocolate skateboards are built with the same exacting standards as the Crailtap umbrella: premium 7-ply North American maple joined with high-strength resins for dependable durability, crisp flick, and long-lasting pop. Available in a wide variety of proprietary shapes and wheelbases, Chocolate decks provide a predictable concave, quick response, and smooth board feel suited for technical street skating, park transitions, and high-impact riding.

Through landmark video releases like Las Nueve Vidas de Paco (1999), Hot Chocolate (2004), and collaborative masterpieces like Yeah Right! (2003) and Pretty Sweet (2012), Chocolate established an enduring standard for team chemistry, musical curation, and modern street aesthetics.

Built for riders who value authentic skate heritage, timeless artistic style, and professional-grade deck construction, Chocolate Skateboards delivers uncompromising quality and classic street credibility.
